Join us on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 7 PM at the Bethesda Row location of American Tap Room for this month's Third Thursday, where we'll have a space reserved for us in the bar area. 

Tap Rooms have long been part of American Culture since the 18th century. They have been synonymous with comfortable gathering places where friends and families enjoy good food, good drinks, and good times. American Tap Room continues this fine tradition and seeks to rekindle the unique vitality of its predecessors, only better. It is where old meets new; taking the best of the past traditions, combining it with a contemporary and sophisticated setting and classic grill menu.

Since 2001, Third Thursday has provided Greek-Americans, Greeks, Cypriots, and Philhellenes from the Washington, DC area and beyond the chance to meet every month in a relaxed atmosphere, particularly welcoming those who have moved from different parts of the country for work or school into the greater DC area Greek community.  With visits to a variety of bars, restaurants, and lounges in the most vibrant neighborhoods of DC, Maryland, and Virginia, Third Thursday is a great way to catch up with old friends and make new ones in the Greek community.  As it now embarks on its third iteration since its founding, we promise to maintain the simple principles of its founders, while expanding the event to an ever-changing audience of Greeks in the area.  We look forward to seeing you -- or meeting you for the first time -- at the next Third Thursday.
