Third Thursday | Relic | February 16, 2012Join us on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 7 PM in Bethesda at Relic Restaurant for this month's Third Thursday. Relic features a wood grill that cooks its burgers and steaks as well as many of small plates to share. The décor is a playful collision of baroque, rock and roll, plush sofas, moose antler chandeliers, bar stools that are real bridle saddles, and oversized portraits of King Henry VIII and his ill-fated second wife Anne Boleyn. Come before 8 PM to take advantage of its great happy hour food and beverage specials. Those coming at Greek Time can still enjoy $5 mojitos all night long! Since 2001, Third Thursday has provided Greek-Americans, Greeks, Cypriots, and Philhellenes from the Washington, DC area and beyond the chance to meet every month in a relaxed atmosphere, particularly welcoming those who have moved from different parts of the country for work or school into the greater DC area Greek community. With visits to a variety of bars, restaurants, and lounges in the most vibrant neighborhoods of DC, Maryland, and Virginia, Third Thursday is a great way to catch up with old friends and make new ones in the Greek community. As it now embarks on its third iteration since its founding, we promise to maintain the simple principles of its founders, while expanding the event to an ever-changing audience of Greeks in the area.
