Glykeria Coming to DC In March

March 19th concert in Tysons Corner last show of 2006 North American Tour

February 16, 2006

Glykeria, with special guests Haralambros Garganourakis and Yerasimos Andreatos, concludes her 2006 North American Tour with a one night only engagement at the Sheraton Premiere in Tysons Corner, VA.

On Sunday, March 19th, 2006, Asteria Productions and Breakdown Productions bring Greek superstar Glykeria along with Gerasimos Andreatos and Haralambous Garganourakis, for a one-night-only event at the Sheraton Premiere in Tysons Corner, VA. Tickets for this special Sunday evening show are $70 and $85 and can be purchased online through DCGreeks.com.

A singer who needs no introduction, Glykeria has been delighting Greek audiences since her rise to stardom in the early 1980s. Invited to share the stage by George Dalaras himself, Glykeria has continued to perform in over 100 concerts worldwide in support of over 25 gold and platinum albums. This is her third visit to DC, having performing at The George Washington University in 1994 and more recently at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City, the latter event also hosted by Asteria Productions. She is joined on this tour by Gerasimos Andreatos, also from the Dalaras tradition, and Garganourakis, one of the best Cretan lyra players and singers.

The show is going to be at the Sheraton Premiere, in Tysons with doors opening at 6:00 pm and the concert starting at 7:00 pm.
