The Daily Gyro
Updated Daily on Greek Time

September 2, 2005

  • The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America has set up a relief fund to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina and has asked all Greek Orthodox Churches to collect a special donation during services either this Sunday, September 4th or next Sunday, September 11th.  For those who may not be able to make it to services or who wish to make their donation online, the Archdiocese has set up a link on its website to donate.  Donations to this fund will be used to address the needs of the Greek Orthodox communities, as well as for assisting the general relief effort.

Donations can be made at http://www.goarch.org/hurricanerelief/.
